This resume and cover letter were composed for the use of the board of The University of Alabama Wesley Foundation during the 2026 Director hiring process.

There are eleven UMC congregations in Tuscaloosa County, all within fifteen miles of the Bama Wesley building.

Rev. Zac Head developed this first draft of a Student Discipleship Model based on mentorship and immersion into the life of a local UMC congregation as a servant leader.

70-80% of freshmen live on campus compared to 23% of the total student population. This creates a residency based social structure which leads to a two phased culture shock in terms of student living situations for the majority of students; which is to say students typically experience a dramatic change in the social structure provided by their living situation.
